Ata Rangi Martinborough Pinot Noir 2007

On the palate, rich cherry stone and delicate spices, ripe plum characters emerge in the glass. Fine tannins run evenly across a full palate.

Ata Rangi Pinot Noir is the benchmark for Southern Hemisphere. Clive Patton along with his wife Phyll and sister Alison run this property, they are all bound by a shared enthusiasm for Pinot Noir and a passion for quality which is self evident in the wines produced.

'When I asked people to name New Zealand's greatest producers, one name kept coming up' e-RobertParker.com

'Ata Rangi is easily the most consistent producer in Australasia, making complex, age-worthy wines' Tim White, Australian Financial Review

The dream vintage 2006 has produced a lively, fruit expressive Pinot tat reflects the strong Ata Rangi heritage. Selected barrel components kept separate during fermination and maturation integrated unusually effortlessly on blending, immediately revealing a wine of decptive power and grace - the ultimate reward for a winemaker, and the result of an exceptionally favourable season.
